Since you’ll be teaching long division over the course of a few days, you’ll want to have a variety of work mats to choose from.

These are the absolute best! I used them in whole group as well as small group. The students really loved them and it was a great way for me to see their work easily.

Easy to use, easy to differentiate for different students, and they look great! I copy the mats I want to use onto cardstock, stick them in dry erase sleeves, and then students can use as needed. Some will rotate the work mats throughout the year if they still feel like they need the support so I don't have to remind them of the algorithm and they can work more independently.
